Kindergarten Excursion to St Clair’s Museum On Friday last week the Kindergarten students of St. Joseph’s went on an excursion to the local St. Clair’s Museum. On arrival we split into two groups, one going into see the main house and the other going down to see the bottom level which housed the kitchen and laundry areas. Kindergarten were amazed to see many items that we don’t find in our homes any longer. The butter churn, grain mill, washing mangle to name a few. The children were able to see old furniture, kitchen implements, clothing and weapons. They were able to compare the past with the present. We would like to thank the parent volunteers and siblings that attended with us and kept us safe walking to the museum. Kindergarten teachers.
